FAQs

  • We hope to open the gym in Fall 2026. We will keep our followers updated if there are any major changes to that timeline. In the meantime, we plan to keep working on building construction during the winter.

  • The gym will be located on the corner of 4th and Glover in Twisp. We are really excited about this location because it serves a linkage between downtown Twisp along Glover Street and the Twispworks campus. We hope that makes it convenient for locals and visitors alike, and that it helps bring traffic to other Twisp businesses as well.

  • We plan to sell pre-memberships a month or two before the gym opens. More details to come.

  • Of course not. We hope to have a healthy community of members, but you can also visit the gym with a day pass, a punchcard, or for an event. All users will need to go through an orientation to ensure safe use of the gym.

  • We will have roped climbing - including some autobelays, bouldering, an adjustable kilter training board, and a climbing fitness & strength area. If you are a numbers and specifics person - the gym will offer 1,910 sq ft of roped climbing (with 13 ropes) and 1,180 sq ft of bouldering across 2 areas.

  • The kilter board is a 12’ x 12’ training board with a set configuration of holds that light up as LEDs. The board itself is adjustable and can be completely vertical (0 degrees), and adjusted up to very overhung (70 degrees), in 2.5 degree increments. When paired with an app, the light up holds and adjustable angle allow the climber to access thousands of different possible bouldering problems. For a small gym, we were excited to offer a kilter board because it greatly expands the climbing routes available to our customers. Kilterboards are great for all climbers - from beginners to expert climbers because they are approachable and customizable.

  • You will need to purchase a membership, day pass or punchcard if you haven’t already, sign a waiver, and go through a safety briefing / orientation.

  • Not yet, but we will be! We will definitely be looking for a good routesetter. We will also have positions available to run the front desk and help with programs.

  • We’re excited to offer a wide range of programs for climbers of all ages. For kids, we’ll have after-school programs, seasonal camps, and structured youth instruction. For adults, we plan to offer skill-building classes, clinics, and friendly competitions.

We also look forward to hosting community events—everything from climbing comps and guest speakers to movie nights, social gatherings, themed sessions (like ladies’ night), and more. Birthday parties and private group events will also be available.

As we grow, we’ll continue refining our offerings based on community interest. Our goal is to create a vibrant, welcoming space that supports learning, social connection, and fun for everyone.

  • Yes! To the extent we are able, we would love to partner with other organizations. Please contact us if you have ideas!
