Be part of Methow Spires from the beginning! First Ascent Members will get to climb before we open to the public, and we have some special perks to offer as a thank-you for joining us early. Your membership won’t be billed until we open—and just $1 gets you started as a First Ascent Member.

How pre-sale works

Select monthly recurring or annual prepaid. First Ascent memberships are available through October 31, 2026.
2. Set up before we open.
Set up your membership for only $1. No more charges until Opening Day, when your monthly recurring membership or annual prepaid membership will start.
3. Be part of the beginning.
Enjoy a First Look tour, Soft Opening access and the extra First Ascent perks.

Family: $125 / month for the first 2 household members, plus $35 per additional child
No initiation or cancellation fees. Can be put on hold for $3/month.

We’re Kelly and Mac, the team behind Methow Spires. We’re building a welcoming climbing gym in Twisp, rooted in the valley we call home.
Come for a first climb, a familiar challenge, or time with your people. Our early members will help bring this community space to life.

Before you join

First Ascent memberships are available through October 31, 2026. Monthly memberships start on the gym’s Opening Day; a confirmed opening date is still to come. After October 31, regular memberships and passes will be available for purchase.

Memberships include gym access during Public hours, access to clinics and member appreciation events, and free rental shoes with youth memberships. First Ascent adds the great package of special perks above at our opening membership prices.
There are no initiation or cancellation fees. All memberships and passes are subject to sales tax, which is not included in the listed prices. The current Twisp sales-tax rate is 8.7%.
Pre-sale includes monthly recurring and annual prepaid memberships only. Day passes and 10-punch passes are not part of pre-sale.

Adult: Ages 18+
Student: Ages 12–17
Youth: Ages 4–11. Youth memberships include free rental shoes.
Kids ages 0–3 are free with a paying adult.
Family: Adult couples, siblings, or parent/child households living at the same address, with no more than 2 adults. The base price covers the first 2 household members, with the listed charge for each additional child.
Seniors and full time students (over 18) with a valid ID can get 10% off adult membership prices. Please see Methow Spires staff for purchase.

We’re working hard to make unstaffed-hours access possible (we call these “Member Hours”), but it is still dependent on insurance approval. If approved, we plan to introduce it about a month after the gym opens. Eligible members would be 18 or older, have completed the Member Hours Orientation, and have signed the Member Hours Rules Acknowledgement.
